Adperma (a subsidiary of Haldia Petrochemicals [HPL]) has inaugurated a new phenol acetone plant in West Bengal, India, at HPL's existing petrochemical complex.
With a capacity of 345 000 tpy of phenol and 215 000 tpy of acetone, the facility is the largest of its kind in India and has been built at a cost of ₹6000 crore.
The ceremony was attended by Ministers, Members of Parliament, and the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, senior industry figures, diplomats and other dignitaries.
